Kevin began the job by removing and filtering the oily water from the elevator pit, passing the oily water mixture through a filter to remove the hydraulic oil from the water. Afterwards, Kevin began cleaning the elevator pit of all debris, rust, and sludge. Finally, Kevin inspected the integrity of the walls and joints for sources of water intrusion and tested the sump pump.
