Our team arrived on-site to discover that the elevator pit had flooded since our pre-job inspection. This required an oily water pump-out prior to our pressure washing, degreasing, and water intrusion inspection.

Day Summary
Day 1 - Jan 17
Day 2 - Jan 23
Day 3 - Jan 26
Day 4 - Jan 29
Day 5 - Jan 31
Day 6 - Feb 5
Day 1 - Jan 17
Day 2 - Jan 23
After our initial inspection, we used the recent rains to reveal other points of water intrusion. We discovered 2 inches of groundwater in the pit, continually pumped the water out as the pit was actively refilling, identified the other sources of water intrusion, and began waterproofing.
Day 3 - Jan 26
Chiseled, drained, and applied first and second layers of waterproofing to all active leaks. This includes all seams around the jack cap, right wall seam, and voids along the back wall and under the car door.
Day 4 - Jan 29
Returned to nearly fully waterproofed elevator pit (98% dry). Filled the open pit channel. Finished chiseling and applying first and second stages of waterproofing to the wall under the car door. Still need to return to apply our third-stage layer of waterproofing to all seams.
Day 5 - Jan 31
Inspected the progress of the waterproofing and discovered a leak that resulted in a large cavity. Chipped, plugged, and waterproofed this cavity. Also waterproofed over the honeycombing on the side wall, and applied the next layer of waterproofing over the filled channel.
Day 6 - Feb 5
Elevator 2 was finalized and painted.
